Happy Birthday, America!

Hope everyone has a happy, safe, and wonderful 4th of July! Appears to be an INCREDIBLE day already. 

Everyone have fun plans set?  I'm throwing the bike and a kayak in the van, and will probably head up to Cooper Lake.

Wandered in to Clymer's art show last night.  That was fun, band was good, and it was free.  Can't complain about that...

A "BIG" hello to my friends Aureliux and CleElum1...sorry it has been so long!!! My computer at home has not been working soooo, I set up another account on my computer at my work.

How are the two of you doing???? I have "REALLY" missed talking via internet with you!!!! I trully have!!!

Can I tell you how "HOT" it has been down here???(Triple digit's!!)
They had to shut down my husband's job last week....the heat index was 137 degrees. That my friend's, is "HOT"

By the way, my daughter and her family has moved from E'Berg so... I have no clue as to what's happening there.

Yes I am on Twitter. Have not written much on here lately.

4th was a lot of very good fun. Spent most of it up at Cooper Lake. Took a folding chair and a book on my kayak. Set up on a little sand bar island at the north end all by myself and had a good ol' time. A few people were around, everyone was real nice.

Saw a little river otter, an osprey, some kind of little mud duck with a crop of fresh hatched ducklets that were about the size of my thumb. Did not take one picture. Gave the camera the day off.

Stopped off at the boat launch on Lake Cle Elum on the way down, saw the wind had picked up. A few big waves were up so I launched and rode them around for a while and that was a lot of fun. Not quite as good as Puget Sound with small craft warnings but it was the best I could do around here.

Did burn both feet. MUST remember to put the sun block on AFTER I take my socks off. Goes to show what happens when I have to always just look out for myself...

Want be long your feet will be peeling!!! (Ha!!Ha!!)

I have been there done that... a sunburn can be very painful especially on top of your feet (feet doesn't see much sun!!)
